The Venue

Bolitho House is a three-storied sandstone residence on an 800 acre estate owned by The Theosophical Society in Australia in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales. This beautiful venue on bush land in the Southern Highlands is available for hire when not in use by the TS for its own events. The property is strictly vegetarian. No smoking, alcohol consumption or shooting permitted on the property.

Surrounded by pristine native forest, the facility is ideal for:  Spiritual retreats, yoga and meditation; Team building and leadership programs; Art and photography clubs; Bird watching and environmental groups; Orienteering and bush walking groups; Personal or professional development; Tai Chi; Weddings and naming ceremonies; Corporate or private functions.

Getting there is easy by car — located around 1.5  hours from Sydney Airport and Wollongong, and under 2 hours from Canberra.

Accommodation

Bolitho House sleeps fifteen people (mainly twin-share).  One room with a queen bed has an en-suite bathroom; one has a double bed; the rest are twin share  with shared bathrooms (four showers, five lavatories). Larger groups can be accommodated for day events.  Marquee space available. Experience quiet, comfortable spaces with sitting rooms, a training room, stone amphitheatre, gardens and breakout spaces.

Catering 

At present,  vegetarian self-catering is the only option.
