music for healing: Sound, Vibration and Frequency
About the Presentation
Music is central to our existence. Our mother's heartbeat is the first rhythm we are aware of ... the babbling brook, waves washing upon a pebble beach, and the sound of raindrops on an iron roof—as soothing as a lullaby—are all sources of healing.
From age-old hymns and chants, to singing bowls and laughter yoga, music shows the way to an enlightened state of being, it reminds us of divinity. In that harmonious state, where we are centre in self and feeling truly alive, and truly connected. healing takes place.
About the Presenter
Singer, songwriter and healer, Victoria Hamilton Boz is the great granddaughter of (Cannon) Staples Hamilton, whose cousin, Florence Augusta Lewis (Hamilton) was the mother of C.S. Lewis (Clive Staples Lewis). Born in New Zealand and raised in Australia, Victoria spent 22 years living in Turkey where part of her journey with music was to have raised two musically-minded children.
